Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent performs maintenance on diesel generators below 750 KVA - Kilo Volt Amperes. Must be willing to service equipment and prepare service documentation. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.  Responsibilities include ordering and receiving service and replacement parts; inspecting and maintaining fuel tanks, fuel burners, and electrical wiring. Maintains, repairs, and services power generators.  Responsibilities include ordering and receiving service and replacement parts; coordinating generators and fuel tanks; and inspecting and maintaining fuel tanks, fuel burners, and electrical wiring. Troubleshoots, installations, and performs technical work with minimal to no supervision. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred.   

Skills Required: Must have demonstrated ability to provide hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance for the generator sets

Specialized Knowledge Required: Must have 3 years experience on 1.5 to 750 KVA - Kilo Volt Amperes generators. Should have experience in the Army 52 Series MOS or equivalent.

Requirements: Pass background investigation, drug test, and medical exam. MUST HAVE HONORABLE DISCHARGE

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively during an 84 hour work week. Must be able to lift 25 Lbs. continuously, 50 Lbs intermittently. Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.  Must be able to work overhead for extended periods.
