Qualifications: Candidate shall have not less than 3 years USN/ USMC/ USCG Organizational Level NAMP aircraft maintenance support experience. These mechanics shall have not less than3 years T/M/S specific aircraft maintenance experience the for the VX-31 T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain. Experience as T/M/S applicable Plane Captain, Ordinance Lead Team Member, current U.S. State Driver's License, tow tractor license strongly desired. VX-31 Organizational Aircraft maintenance is most preferred.
Candidates are strongly desired to be a high school graduate or equivilent and shall have completed U.S. Navy AO "C" School, FRAMP training for Navy/ Marine Corps Attack/ Fighter aircraft. Organizational Level Aviational Ordinance handling experience and documented completion of conventional weapons Lloading school is required for VX-31Ordinance Handling. Contractor shall have documented experience with aircraft conventional ordinance, ordinance launching mechanisms, basic upload/download procedures, armament loaders and associated special aviation weapons support equipment and general aviation support equipment and general aviation support equipment. Shall have at least 3 years experience working Organizational Level Aviation Ordinance, one of which shall have been within the last two years. Shall be certifiable to handled all conventional ordinance, experimental ordinance, and explosive driver. Contractor shall posses a valid U.S. State Driver's license.
Be eligible to qualify for a Secret Level Clearance.
Disqualifiers: No Organizational Level aircraft maintenance experience, no valid U.S. State Driver's License, inability to deploy for detachments. Not have a valid or inability to obtain a U.S. State Driver's License.
