Resume Help

Your resume represents your knowledge, experience, attitude, and personality. Recruiters and Human Resource personnel have to review numerous resumes, so your resume makes your first impression. Make it count.

All the information should be accurate, informative, and brief. However, if you have 20 years experience and have had 8 jobs during that span, your resume should be longer than one page. The layout should be simple and the content should be appropriate for the specific position. Prioritize your content so that the most important information appears first. Sell the benefits of your skills and attributes. Words are powerful, so if you have access to the specific Job Description, analyze it and identify key words to use in your resume.

Keep your tone professional, be sincere, and represent yourself realistically. Don't promise the world unless you can deliver.

Below is a basic outline for a typical resume.
